Default Clutch Replacement

I'm looking at replacing the clutch on my 2014 XC60 2.4D AWD 6 speed manual.
What I'm looking for is any information that anyone has in regards to:
The Volvo part numbers
The OEM that supplied Volvo (LUK's, I've been told)
Specialist tools required
I've been told the job is just under 8 hours all going well so if anyone has any pointers, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help

Just a bit of history. My late father worked for many years for Laycock Engineering in Sheffield a subsidiary in the end of GKN.
They predominantly made overdrives and clutches for Volvo. They closed due to the fact that gearboxes in cars got more than 4 gears!
Anyhow now in another location of Sheffield is now the firm called LUK, that as you know make clutches and DMF's.
I'am sure they still do make Clutches for Volvo 😉
Lastly I am very interested in this post as the clutch in my XC60 D5 manual may need replacing in the future. The surplus overdrive stock was bought out by a man who used to work for Laycocks. His son still runs the business called overdrive repair services in Sheffield. Overdrive repair specialist. Regards

A quick call to the Volvo dealer with your reg number of chassis number will get you the part number you need, try one of the dealers who supply parts at trade prices on e-bay (search for genuine Volvo brake pads or something and you will find them....)

The 8 hours might be in a workshop with ramps and jacks so if you are doing it on your drive, allow a lot longer.... also good time to look at input shaft and driveshaft seals. I wouldn't bother with the crank seal - never heard of one of those failing. I would get an engine support bar as well - in the past I've used a long M12 threaded rod through the bar to raise and lower the gearbox for easy alignment - much better than jack/by hand

(i.e. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265223029...0AAOSw215g5u4z)

I've previously used LUK clutch kits (Repsets) with perfect results. Get the 3 piece kit as CSC was sometimes an issue on later XC60 with M66 (including my MY17 D4 when it gave up at 48k miles).
