Default XC90 electrics stopped working.

Hi, this morning I needed to remove my stereo and upon plugging back in I forgot to take the key from the ignition (needed to be in drive so I could get the the panel). Once I turned on the ignition to check the stereo was working it didn’t turn on. I then noticed the dash clocks didn’t light up (engine management light comes on then goes out as normal, I then found that the central locking doesn’t work, neither do the electric windows or climate control. I’ve checked all the fuses but I and two mechanics I know are at a complete loss. Anyone have any ideas or had anything similar?
Cheers.

Was it a hot day when dash and electrics failed?
Does it work first thing in the morning when cooler?
I've had similar problem and can't get to bottom of it.
