  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

When installing the glass ones, if you have the plastic lenses now: you need to get the wiring with the headlights and do some changes: glass and plastic units use different wirings/connectors…..!!!

if you get plastic ones you can polish and seal them before fitting . far easyer than doing them on the car

Sand the plastic lenses going through wet and dry grades until you get to 800 grit paper, then spray with 2K laquer, plenty of guides on Youtube and it's the only way to do them properly for a long lasting finish.

Choose the lacquer carefully, though. I got mine crystal clear by sanding and using T-cut as a wetting agent, then applied a coat of super-duper UV resistant lacquer and they went all cloudy again so I had to scrape it off.

I went up to 4000 grit along with T-cut as a polishing agent. Worked a treat.
