  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

(a) The easiest way - XC90 comes with fluorescent dye in the compressor oil so you can run around with a black light to look for leaks.
(b) When you get a regas, they will extract existing gas, pull and hold a vacuum to check for leaks. The problem is that vacuum will often pull cracks closed and it is poor for detecting slow leaks.
(c) The most effective way - add hydrogen/nitrogen mix and check with H2 detector.
(d) Use a refrigerant detector/sniffer. Have not done this but heard it is less sensitive than the above.
