Default Pela on a d5

I have the xc60 with d5 diesel. Has anyone used the Pela pump and were results good for the oil change? I have the pump and it is better on some cars than on others.

Hello

Yes.

I have a Pela suction pump.

On my XC70 D5 the technicians dipstick hole is perfect as there are no issues as found with some dipstick tubes.

Once a year it is drained via drain bung but halfway through the year I change using the Pela, usually after high mileage from a summer towing.

If the dipstick is in front of the crankcase set the car on a slight incline bottom up.
It works like a charm nearly all oil comes out quick

Job done. Got 5.8 litres out with the Pela. With the filter right in front of you it is easiest oil change on all the family cars for a while.
