Default Whats your best 'estimated range'?

1000 is mine

Admittedly i did do a 100 mile round trip on a motorway, and filling up striaght after pretty much from around 50 miles left ot the brim so the estimated mpg was high.

It did however go back to the usual 'around 650' for a full tank after a few days

Stopped looking, far too depressing. When I look back and remember for a £1 note I could put 4 full gallons of petrol in my car, yes depressing is the right word.

I've had a theoretical range of just under 1000 miles but this was sat on the motorway doing 60mph travelling to Devon during the fuel shortage crisis last year.

Usual range is between 580 and 650 when I fill up

Fairly sure I’ve seen 700/800, and had a fair few times where adding my completed mileage partway through a tank to the estimated range has had 800/900. Never hit that magic 1000 though, I never have enough long journeys to get that far sadly. Or maybe too much right foot is to blame…

1130 about half way through most tanks on a V60 D4 R-design. Normally fill up around 900 miles though. I also find the engine is more economical on a motorway run at 75 than 67-70.. must have an engine like Concorde!

On my V60 D6 hybrid, it never seems to go above 450m on the display, but if I charge it every day and keep it below 60mph, the fuel gauge hardly moves - today 1 bar disappeared after 240 miles.

I presume the 450 is just a hypothetical, as it never knows how much electric you are going to introduce? My best full tank MPG average was 138 mpg after loads of daily trips up to 25m and daily charging, with maybe diesel in use 10-15% of the time. So technically, I can only claim an actual range !
