Default D5 compression test?

Hi I'm planning on doing a compression test on my 07my 185 d5 today however I've never done a compression test on a diesel before and would like to know how you stop the d5 injecting fuel for the test? On an older diesel would just pull solenoid wire on pump but what on a d5? I've got the loan of a tester today that reads through the glow plug hole which I have to give back in the morn so all tips and help appreciated.

Thanks

Just pull the ECM fuse. Ignition off for 15 mins first though.
Post your results.

Yep that's what lid said aswell but it kills starter I ended up pulling fuel pump fuse number 19 I think turned over didn't start so I went with that.
All cylinders were 300 apart from 5 which was 280 this was on a cold/cool engine as had limited time they would be higher on a normal temp engine.

Yes, a warm engine is recommended but those figures look pretty good and and even number 5 is within tolerance.

A readout on vida concerning fuelcorrections on the injectors and rpm's for each cillinder gives a good indication of the compression indirectly
