Default Volvo Amazon estates for sale.

I find myself with two Amazon estates and can only justify keeping one. I cannot decide which to keep so have decided to advertise both and keep the one which does not sell.

I bought the grey one during lockdown. It has had much work over the last two years and is very close to MOT. Bodywork has patina but is solid. It has had previous welded repairs to the floors and patching to one of the inner wings. Red interior in pretty good shape, recent carpet set, good headlining, powder coated wheels and new Michelin tyres. Will require two rear axle bump stops, two 50p sized holes welding and some snagging. I have covered several hundred miles in it over the last few months.

The green one is totally solid underneath and appears unwelded. Tan interior is reasonable but shows its age. The bodywork is solid but has sections that have been hand painted. The previous owner had the car for many years and kept on top of things. It has twin carbs and everything is working. I have been using it recently and it goes very well. The two front wings will need replacing in the future. This one has MOT until January 2023

Both cars have good tailgates.
Both have working overdrive gearboxes though the one in the green one whines in the lower gears.

Price. I am thinking £6500 for the grey and £7500 ono for the green.

My number is 07966971222 and I am based near Cardigan in S W Wales

Hi, A few more pictures of PMC131E. There is a photocopy of the 2009 article from Volvo Driver documenting a trip to The Somme as noted by Derek.

Default Like busses - 3 come along at once!

Sadly, due to a house move and 6 cars in the stable I need to pass on my Wagon/Estate project. 1967. In bits, but big bits. Body (welding half complete) sitting (rolling) on rebuilt axles/subframes. New floors in, and a refurbished front chassis/outriggers ready to fit. All new suspension, progressive springs -45mm, GAZ shocks. Banded wheels. Built for better handling not Chavvy. Boxes of brand new parts - carpets; rubbers; seals; and loads more. Seats need a refurb. Bumpers scabby. (I'm making it sound really appealing, aren't I?) The engine has been rebuilt, and is mated to a checked and cleaned gearbox and overdrive which has a new solenoid. All painted and ready to install in one unit. Twin carbs + manifold will need a rebuild but I have a genuine SU kit for that. All in all, the makings of a 'forever' car with most of the expensive and complex work done. Based in Mid-Wales Nr. Llandovery. Is this for you? Owes me loads but what about £5500? I'm struggling to upload pics so I'll try a separate post.
