Pela on a d5
I have the xc60 with d5 diesel. Has anyone used the Pela pump and were results good for the oil change? I have the pump and it is better on some cars than on others.

Hello
Yes. I have a Pela suction pump. On my XC70 D5 the technicians dipstick hole is perfect as there are no issues as found with some dipstick tubes. Once a year it is drained via drain bung but halfway through the year I change using the Pela, usually after high mileage from a summer towing. HTH |

If the dipstick is in front of the crankcase set the car on a slight incline bottom up.
It works like a charm nearly all oil comes out quick |

Job done. Got 5.8 litres out with the Pela. With the filter right in front of you it is easiest oil change on all the family cars for a while.
