Default MK1 space-saver spare needed.

Further to my other thread "Wheel Options" below....

My Bro-in-law wants a used 155/85 R18 space-saver from a MK1 Volvo (bore size of 67.1mm) - anyone got or seen one for sale?

Given that any MK1 that is being scrapped is likely to have one and that its unlikely that many MK1 owners are actively looking to source one, it's surprising that they seem to be as rare as hens teeth.

Makes you wonder what the car breakers are doing with them - leaving them in the cradle as it drops into the crusher perhaps?

Thanks John

I saw that - but it says will fit multiple Volvo models - the lads on the General forum say they all have different "bore" sizes so it wont fit all the models they cite. Even the MKI & MKII XC90's have different bore sizes. I asked him what model was it off and what the bore size is ... no reply yet

Afraid I don’t have one for sale however yes the bore on the mk1 XC90 is different to other models, even the XC60.

Does anyone have the spare wheel and the holder as a set?

Default Kwik Fit

Had email advertising Road Hero spare wheel from Kwik Fit.
Noted they did my compatible size (235/60 18) but not some thing I need.
Also includes jack and a few other bits.

Heres page https://www.kwik-fit.com/tyres/road-...road_hero_sp_2

Might be a bit pricey but possibly useful if you cant source original spare.
