Default rear shock absorber broken, puzzler

One of my rear shock absorbers gave way and now I find it confusing to say the least, that most who are advertised for a 2008 Volvo diesel 1.6 estate has shockers for the rear however, they are only for cars with a power of 81 KW mine is classed as 80KW, so apparently they don't fit.
Has any kind person able to help me on this matter, as I'm stuck at home without being able to fix it.
kind Regards
billy
