35p a mile, that’s only about 9 mpg, Christ my P5 does better than that

i don't want to post a negative on this thread, I will investigate and let you know on a new thread. but it's a positive that you brought my attention to it. i never thought to do the extra maths to work out the mpg. Also i did enjoy driving the car.
many thanks

Sorry for the negativity
It was just a quick calculation in my head, I could be wrong as I’m no mathematician

Ye olde 185 Polestar has just completed a 520 mile round trip and not missed a beat. Average 42.8 MPG. An amazing machine.

Was also impressed at how much quieter the Hankook's are than CrossClimates.

Still nothing wrong.

Mine is on its original battery, 13 years old. Its showing no evidence of imminent failure, but it can't go one forever, has already managed more or less double the typical life of a battery, and cold weather is ahoy...

So with that in mind i'll invest in a new battery next week. The dealers are only charging £103.75 fitted, so they can do it and give me their free health check and fluids top up at the same time. The lady on their service reception is also Canadian, so we have a good catch up over free coffee when it goes in.

Speed cameras virtually the entire journey, so a very disciplined 65 mph or so the whole way. Very boring, but pretty efficient. I've noticed over the years that as temperatures plummet I lose 2 or 3 mpg regardless of how I drive, so repeating the journey in January may bring different results.

Its been a very long time since I personally took it on a long journey but with a bit of care I could just squeak our 163 to 40 mpg on such a run, but 38 point-a-bit was more normal.

I must admit to a breakage today. I caught one of the front mud flaps on a high curb as I dropped down it. Fortunately I already have a spare and will swap it out tomorrow.
