Default V40 Digital instrument cluster failure

Hi , The digital instrument cluster on my 2013 V40 6 speed 2.0 D3 r-design has gone black.
The fuel gauge and gearshift lights either side of the digital interface are still working.
I had the battery changed the day before the unit went black, wondering if this is a coincidence or the cause.
I am not 100% sure which fuse to check for this unit either.
Has anyone else had this problem and can it be fixed or does it need replaced?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

The same symptoms occur if a new DIM is fitted to the car and not programmed. Probably best to get it checked by a dealer. They may need to re-upload the DIM software, or it could be that the DIM has failed.
