240GLT Estate
Hi guys,
I'm now in a position to buy a 240..... So if you spot a real cracker, please let me know! A few things, that are a must have though.... Must be a 240GLT Estate, NOT a saloon, and not something that started life as a Torslander etc. Must be 2.3 engine Must be manual gearbox Must be absolutely immaculate, both interior and body Must have full MOT Must have full history Must be low mileage It's a lot to ask I know, but I'm prepared to pay an extremely good price for the right car! And if you point me in the direction of what I'm after (and I buy it!), I would even give you a £100 finders fee! Regards Eddy |

I know there will be very few 240's that meet the criteria I'm looking for, but I'm certain the car I want IS out there! It just has to be found....
I'll pay up to £5000, and could even go higher than that - But for that sort of money the car must be very special indeed! Regards Eddy |

Hi Eddy if you find one but without the service history or low mileage then the other parts of your list will do me fine.
I to am looking for a really nice 240 estate. The mileage doesn't seem to really bother the 240 and I always service mine myself so the history would mean not a lot for future value.Although It is a very good thing to have. I have a 240SE 2.0L auto but really hanker for the 2.3L manual. I was going to ask a question myself about the last few years of production. There have been a fair few 240's on the bay but J,K and L models seem to have the 2.0L engine are auto and the paintwork has been very poor. Some even have more tinworm than any of my old E reg or H reg estates. I also don't have your budget but I will keep my eyes open for you. GOODLUCK Brian. |
