Advice on roof box XC40
Hello everyone,
I've bought a new XC-40, due for delivery in June. This is my first Volvo and I've never had a roof box before so am just looking for a bit of advice. There's so many different options out there, does anyone have recommendations on which roof bars/boxes are best? Thanks! |

The Volvo kit is pretty good, I believe it is Thule.
You can buy Thule roof bars as a kit then swap the feet as you swap cars, works out at about €100 each update as opposed to 250-300 for the manufacturer bars. the Volvo bars are good. I bought a Volvo roof box in 2007, it gets used a couple of time per year, no cracks in it yet and the locks are pretty robust. I also installed a lift in the garage to lift it straight on and off the car. saves it getting knocked about.
