Smile Xc60 recharge interior choices

Hi thanks for letting me join the group, I am about to place an order on a T6 recharge plus and have a bit of a dilemma between the choice of interior. For practically reasons I have narrowed it down to the charcoal variants colour wise. Choice now is betelween standard seats in full leather and sports seats in part leather. I have read previous threads and watched numerous reviews and it seems as with most things opinions are split. For me the full leather is most practical and I do wonder if this type of vehicle needs a sport seat, but does the standard seat give enough lateral support for a 350hp SUV? The sport seat looks great but a few reviews seem to suggest it is harder and more restrictive and is subject to wear on side bolsters….. but for what is a fairly powerful car does a sport seat make sense? Appreciate this has been discussed before but looking for some experience of others who have made the choice and tried both variants?

I lived with full leather for 3yrs... I had Partial Leather (with suede style centre) for a few weeks and let's just say I'm glad I ordered full leather again in my new T8 Ultimate.

With kids it's a no brainer, it really is.

Thanks for the reply, I am sure that full leather would be best from practical perspective but just wondering are the sports seats an upgrade as they seem to be advertised as a free upgrade over ‘standard’ seats….also does lateral support matter for a car with this much poke? Just after different opinions but appreciate it is very subjective

Some of us wish leather wasn't compulsory when we bought our cars! My old V70 had cloth seats and they lasted 10 years just fine. Leather is fine for wiping the mess off but in every other way cloth is better, in my humble opinion.

I agree it is a bad material in many ways…. Don’t have much option but to have it, just wondering how people find the two different styles of seat specifically in XC60 recharge

I have 2 young kids in the back 1 with a child's seat usual crumbs and dirt all over the place and the light leather is still in perfect condition throughout the entire car. Once a year I use Supernatural leather clean snd seal. No reason not to have a light interior and in my view it looks fantastic.
