If that's Redcar (Gareth's) old car from Dublin then I'm a bit annoyed as I gave him a set of seat backs and headrests which he fitted. Assume someone has taken them out and used in another car.
My take on the seats is they look awful and look like your grannies sofa jammed in. Get a nice original restored set back in or some quality correct period seats and they will look like the dogs.

The sills don't look correct to me they look like they have the oversills fitted so this needs properly looking at. I could be wrong but early 2 doors I don't think had galvanised sills so if inspecting the car have a good looks at and around the sills.

Nice looking car at a fair price. Seats are probably more comfortable but look awful and don't suit in my opinion. Each to their own of course. You would source original seats eventually, probably fit new foam and covers and they would look great. You would still have the newer ones to put back in if you wanted to. If it was me I would change the Minilites to wide steels and it would be perfect! Best of luck with it.

2 door sills only went as far back as the B post. the rest of the sill, backwards, is part of the rear wing. That's why there is a vertical join showing there, or should be, as the front part of the sill is joddled under the wing. 4 door has front to back one piece sill.

Forums are great places for advice and whilst there are lots of "real mechanics" here when we are giving advice here we demote ourselves to "armchair mechanic" status! You can't beat being there in person...
