Question bleed valve/nipple

Hey all,
who could please tell me the size and thread pitch of the front brake caliper bleed valve/nipples year 2000 mk2 v70 2.5tdi ?
As I really have to have a couple at the ready for caliper /pipe refurbishment........................the originals are far too corroded to assess correctly.
Or maybe you have some ?

Thanks in advance........Col.......

I searched this too with no luck. Front wheels might be easier, for the rear ones where the bleeder is smaller and breaks easier, better have at hand a pair of used/refurbished calipers. Using a good (not wd40) penetrating oil weeks in advance helps.

Can't find my invoice (to provide part number - mine's also a D5252T), but I just recently bought two OE from local Volvo dealer to have on hand as I'm doing a bit of brake work lately too. They were cheap enough - €5 or so each. 11mm spanner, FWIW.

I just attempted replacing my brake hoses yesterday. Didn't go well. All 4 caliper bleed screws freed off fine - I had soaked them in WD40, and scrubbed around them with a wire brush. I gave them all a tiny bit of force in the tightening direction before attempting to loosen them. Whether all that had any effect on them freeing off is a guess - maybe I was lucky and they were going to free off OK anyway.

I'd be interested to know how you get on with your brake hoses, if you're replacing them? Mine wouldn't free off at all. I might go for a "proper" penetrating oil, rather than WD40. WD has always done for me whatever I asked of it, but maybe it's time for me to try something else.

PS - Got my refund from Volvo after a scrap with them. Quite satisfying to tell them that I sorted the problem myself after "a guy on a forum suggested I check the fuse".
