850 Tdi injectors

410,000 on the original injectors. Car started a rough idle back in 2003, but no probs with the emission so put up with it. Now its unpleasant and worse when hot, so its time to have the injectors out and tested.

Can these thing be re-conned or is it a buy new job, any idea how much I should expect to pay?

Apart from that the car runs like a watch.

Hi,

they can be re-conned. I think they just change the nozzle-not sure.

Diesel bob charges about £35 per injector-I think.

no problem,going to do mine soon-their a lot easier to get out than I thought they would be.

Ah thats my next question, anyone know if the diesel is under pressuer after turning the engine aff for a few hours, and how do you bleed the system after refitting?
