Loss of park sensors & radio display
I was parking the car today - V70 57 reg 08 MY 3.2 SE luxe - when parking sensors stopped working and centre console display went off except for the two temperature settings. Pressing radio on/off button brought up "High Performance" wording but then display just went off again.
I turned engine off and back on again but no difference. I went shopping and came back to car after about 1.5 hours. Started the car and everything worked fine and was still working on another journey this afternoon. First thought was a common fuse having blown but didn't get as far as checking it as it all started working again. Anyone else experienced this problem, or any thoughts? Something similar has just happened in my V70 2012 model se lux
Display started as usual the Volvo logo, but only the temperature display at the bottom working. No nav, radio, phone just a greyed display. Started trying to see if any button worked then it all came alive again. None the wiser. Eosfan, has this happened again? |

This happened to me recently; very much Volvo's equivalent of The Blue Screen Of Death. Went to the dealer who reloaded the os & software and all has been fine since. No hardware was changed; this seems simply to have been corrupted os & software.
