Ticking noise from O/S/F
Bit of a weird one – got a ticking noise that seems to be from the driver’s front area. It’s noticeably louder when I put my ear to the front wheel arch.
The engine is off and hasn’t been driven since Monday. Power washed some bird crap from the roof and bonnet today, if that in any way makes a difference.

Possibly blocked drains and water dripping down

Doesn’t sound like a drip. It varies in loudness, could actually hear it from inside the house!

That's where the alarm unit is located, IIRC, and they are known to develop problems with the internal battery corroding and leaking onto the PCB, which could cause all sorts of problems - I'd strongly suspect this. Worth sorting, 'cos if I'm right that's going to present a bit of a battery drain, which could cause problems if you leave the car for a while.
I'd be whipping off the wheel arch cover and having a look and listen in there, should be fairly easy to see if i'm right once you can get at the thing.
