Default Volvo 940 2.3 LPT Engine bits for sale!! CHEAP!!!!!

Well as you guys know, I'm sticking the V8 in the Volvrat, and now it's down at the auto shop, I am taking parts off the engine so if anyone is after any parts, lemme know.

Alternator - £10

Inlet manifold + fuel rail + injectors - £20

Adaptor for putting a 15G turbo on the 940 exhaust manifold - £35, or £50 including exhaust manifold

Exhaust manifold - £15

AW code auto gearbox - £75, or £125 including bellhousing and torque converter

Bellhousing off a 940 ZF code gearbox - £20

Engine itself - £50 (it goes through oil quite a lot and seems to eat turbos ridiculously fast, do not know the problem, 130k on the clock, LPT)

HT Leads - £15

Any other parts are available, PM for prices. All cash on collection only from either Bexleyheath (DA8) or Crayford (DA1)

Only thing that won't be available is the power steering and ABS units.

I'll get back to you on that one tomorrow mate.

I never use air con to the point where to be honest, I don't know 100% sure if I have air con or not, and if I do I don't know if it works. But if I have it, pump would be £10 because I don't know if it works and the engine doesn't run so I have no way of testing it.

Default 15 adaptor

Hi there,

What's this 15 adaptor? I purchased a 15g of a guy a few months ago but am now starting (at long last) the upgrades on my 940 Sports edition estate.

I bought an uprated cam off Raven a while back..have a stainless Jetex 2.5" cat back exhaust, Bosch 984 &219 Jetronic box's..etc

Oh got the clutch of a Volvo member too..non dual Mass..with Diesel plate...phew..I have a 531 head but that will be phase 2..or 3 or...

Regards

James

It's a thingy that bolts onto the exhaust mani and has the mounting for the 15G on it. Be warned it's not a straight simple swap over. I had to rotate the core and relocate the intercooler piping to make it fit. Took 8.5 hours to do with a mate.

I got told I needed the adapter n I did. I dunno if it makes any difference that my 940 is late model or not though.

Hope this helps

Hi there, I couldn't see any cracks on it but I'll give it a very good look over first for you.

I notice you're in Aberdeen though, so guessing you won't be collecting in person then? I do not know when I will have the time available to package it and take it to a post office.
