Phil2244 New Member Last Online: Jul 2nd, 2023 23:47 Join Date: Jun 2022 Location: Driffield	Volvo 440 engine straing noise Hi little issue with a 440 glt fuel injected I have .it started making a slight chuffing ,grating noise and sounded like it was in the head a year ago Last week it got worse ,so I took the rocker cover off expecting the cam to be worn but all looks good So after my check I have now taken the head off and that all looks OK no crack or damage ,all inlet valves same colour same withe exhaust ,no cracked buckets etc nothing loose ,don't think it's ever been opened up Only got 78k on it I have just had a thought and could it be a noisy injector ? Or maby oil pump ? Any advice would be great
