Be interesting to see what you buy once you are down here

How far from the sea front will you be? I lived one 'block' back form Burnham sea front for s time and the sand and salt used to blow up under the car and settle around the spark plugs.
(And everywhere else, but the plug holes required very careful cleaning!)
If you take a walk along the houses built behind the dunes, Trinity Rise etc, the cars look like they have been cleaned with a scouring pad.
The place I'm buying is in Berrow, about 2 miles North of Burnham and quite close to St Mary's Church. It is about 700 yards (across the golf links) to the beach. It is probably set far enough back to avoid too much sand. I suppose it is a compromise such that Bob (the dog) and I can go for a walk on the beach most days, and being so close that the weather and sand become big issues.

Ah, my wifes parents live in Links Gardens. Their place is fine on the sandblasting front
Sounds perfect for what you need.
Good luck with the move.
