You could probably make a front air dam, perhaps from a 240 one...

Amazon Cars do a set of -25mm springs but can do custom springs... I was quoted about £300 for a set of -50mm. I'm currently just on -50mm chopped springs, which works well enough but it's not ideal. I hear single-rate rears and progressive fronts are the way to go.

Upgrades- well, electronic ignition is a good start in terms of making your car more reliable. You can get entire 123Ignition distributors, or little Pertronix electronic ignition kits that just pop inside your existing distributor, replacing the points.

A carb swap is a good idea. I went for a single Mikuni kit from V-Performance, which is excellent, but it took about 4 months for the guy to actually post it out to me, so I wouldn't recommend dealing with him. A Weber conversion is a good option.

Welcome, by the way!

If you want a small spoiler...

l adapted a repro 1970s Capri RS2600 spoiler to fit my 164.

(The 164 lower front panel below the bumper is very similar/the same shape as a 140 I think)

The mods are detailed in my thread, but in a rush now so no time to find the page! Let me know if you're interested and I'll find it.

John

John- that looks really good, and I'm not usually a fan of front lips.
