Thumbs down V70 AWD warning

I had a look at a 1999 T-plate V70 AWD in Bagshot yesterday. The body was good, the interior, especially the rear seats very presentable, a couple of cosmetic faults which I would have lived with or fixed but unfortunately a look at the MOT advisory sheet revealed that the rear prop shaft had been removed over a year ago, this AWD is FWD! The seller seemed genuinely suprised when I explained to him that this was probably done to disguise a failed viscous coupling. Now he knows but the lad is going to have to try to sell this car...

PS, I'm in the market for an automatic V70 with 7 seats, must have leather.
