Ok, got the info pack and have had a look through it..

Saturday 13th June, gates open 11.30am - 4.30pm Ballee Playing Fields Ballymena

All show cars are expected to be in place by 11am and cannot be move until show is over, gate opens for show cars at 8am

Special 50th Anniversary of the Mini

Show is open to all Vintage, Classic, Modern Classic & modified showcars

All proceeds to MacMillan Nurses

Entry fee £10 ( Driver plus 1 passenger ) Extra passengers charged as per gate

Adults £3 under 12's free

All entry fee's to be paid by the 5th of May, i will look after this, but in order for me to have the fee paid on time i need to have a cheque / postal order by the 1st May along with Full name, address, phone number, email address, car reg, make model, year, they need to know class entered too, but i assume most will be modern classic (1972 - 1996). PM me for my address to forward cheque too.

Reading through this it would appear my S70 doesnt fit in, and its not likely my 740 will be ready on time and the 940 isnt much of a show car, so i might not have anything on stand

Don't be silly about the 940 Andy; due to the lack of Volvo scene getting the numbers accounted for is more important than whether it's good enough or not. It's a Volvo and it will be on a Volvo stand, let the pursuits make up their own mind! Any chance you could get the 740 towed somehow?

I'll say to the guy that bought the 850 off me (apparently the rear Swedish sunblind and tailgate stickers have been removed ) but his family will probably be taking their Minis down for the 50th.

If I remember to I'll send out an email list to all the Irish Volvo owners considering there hasn't been any meets recently.

It's good of you to organise this, I always really wanted to get a Volvo stand put together for a show and this was nearly on my doorstep!!

Hey Darren, hope all is going well state side
The 740 isnt in a state to be showed, i'd be ashamed of her at the minute lol, that said, i finally have funds to get the Fox project underway again, so if i get that done the 740 is next under the knife, she'd be sorted in a week, and i'm thinking that the orginisers will be glad of anything that turns up, so i intend to email him and see if the S70 would be accepted. That said, there's a guy interested in the S70 and may be part ex'ing a 940 2.3 turbo. As for the 940, its different, so maybe, if i can get her tidied up. Still havent got round to painting the wheels.
Seems we havent much interest in this though Darren, and i want more than just my cars on the stand if i'm going to make the effort of organising it.

So for anyone interested please pm me showing me your interest by mid april, i'd like at least 6 - 10 cars on show, or i'll just be attending as a spectator

Ill be there in the volvo 480 - no questions asked. May get my friend also to drive my current 440 td as well. Whats this about a stand? Can I get the 480 onto a show stand???

Its nto a stand as such Carl as far as i know, it'll just be a section dedicated to us, i cant be sure the 740 will be ready in time, but i intend to put the 940 and S70 up for show (if the organisers allow them lol)

So is that a definate 2 cars from you Carl??
Mark (mchudd) also has put the 360GLT up for the stand too.

Hi Andy.
I will send you the money at the weekend as i am very busy at work at the moment. Unfortunatly my 360GLT passed away. Engine problems and rust issues.However i have aquied an ablolute mint 1983 360 GLS,with only 45000 miles on the clock.
