You might get a quicker response by calling the number in the post. It’s the poster’s first post, they might not check back in for a while.

Seller should put up a few more details. First post yes, and will bet you the last one as well!

Cool Oooh!

I still believe this is one of the 'sexiest' estate cars ever designed! Sorry...I will take my tablets.

Well I eventually collected the 740 from Luke today at Lancaster train station. Luke drove her up and I got the train down from Glasgow

I've nicknamed the car Hampstead as that's where she has spent her entire life until now. Same owner for 32 years and 70k miles

First thing I noticed compared to my 940 2.3 manual turbo is how painfully slow the 2.0 N/A with slushbox is ! On the plus side she is very comfortable and relaxing so the 170 miles were pretty stress free ( I nearly said flew by but that really wasn't the case )

I was thinking of renaming her Blenheim Palace because it really is like driving around in a large stately home

I think the 350 mile run will have also done her good having been mainly used for pootling around town for years.

Watch this space for subtle upgrades

PS The rack was sold on so didn't slow me down on the drive up
