Volvo V70 S D5 for sale (2005 facelift)
Hi
I have just paid a deposit on an XC70 for pulling my new caravan, so am selling my V70 with a heavy heart.... Volvo V70 S D5 (March 2005, '54 plate) facelift 75k, silver, manual, some tax and mot to run no smoking, no pets, only grown up children I'm the second owner, and have owned it since June 2008 Volvo dealer serviced for first 3 years, then full service history from Trevor Burgess, independent Volvo, since then. Service book and all other receipts to show. Last month I had fitted a brand new Westfalia detachable tow bar, with full dedicated Volvo electrics at a cost of £500. I have never used this (receipt to show). I will be having the tow bar removed by Trevor Burgess for separate sale, but would throw it in with the car, obviously. Location: Glossop or my work (central Manchester). I'm looking for a quick sale to allow me to get my new car, so offers very close to £4500? Thanks Rob (07753 992599) |

V70 for sale - towbar now removed
Hi
Regarding the sale of my V70 - I have now had the tow bar removed, and will be selling it separately. It weighed a ton, so no point having it on the car unless you tow! My independent Volvo mechanic did a lovely job (receipt to show) and fixed a handbrake sticking problem at the same time, so I just spent £150 on a car that I am trading in 2 weeks time! You'd be hard pressed to find a more cherished and fussed over V70 for under £5k - mot and tax until July. Trading in at the end of next week..... Rob |

Sorry, Joe
Hi Joe
Please excuse the public reply. I can't PM anybody until I have 30 posts, and I'm not there yet. I don't think this will work. I am committed to trading the V70 in on Thursday when I get my new Volvo. Unless you are local, I don't think we have time to do this. I'll be taking it off sale tomorrow. I'm trading in to John Darke, Volvo, in Lincoln. You could ask them for a price...they will be off loading it, I'm sure. Or you could ask them who takes it from them. I suspect you'll pay a bit more, though. It is a lovely car. No mechanical problems; no crashes; owned by me for 4 years and maintained and serviced properly by Trevor Burgess (an independent Volvo mechanic). It is MOT'd and taxed to July. The tax will be removed at trade in. I'm selling because our first caravan arrives in a couple of weeks, and I'm going for an XC70. Sorry, though, I seem to have run out of time for anything other than a quick local sale. Good Luck with your search. Rob |
