Probably because 0% finance is no longer available for loan terms over 36 months.

Agree, but its not as if a new loan, just an amendment to an 2023 agreement, never mind its not going to break the bank..

But Human says YES....

phoned Volvo as getting daily emails to approve the 'revised' 3yr loan.. I asked last week for the original 4yr loan to be reinstated (as my original request made it clear i wanted the 4 years but with a slightly higher amount). Within 5 minutes whilst still on the phone i received a revised 4 year loan at my revised amount.

All i need now is the car to use the loan for...

Got an email from Volvo UK to pay the deposit which i did. Called Volvo and they told me car is in Grimsby port and should be delivered to dealer 25/03 to 28/03.

Presumably this deposit is in addition to the one made at time of order? Is it a percentage of the order value or a fixed amount?

Yes, As it is a lease car, I put in a deposit to keep the monthly figures manageable.

Got this email from the dealer today "Still waiting for the update from Volvo, however your vehicle has been called over"

Was told by him it would arrive today. What does called over mean?

I went to see the dealer for an update on mine today and it would seem that it has a build date of next week. The anticipated handover date is 19 Apr, so only 3 weeks away.
Good news, though I’ll remain suitably sceptical until I see it.

Mine has a build date of next week (in China) but delivery is end June. Even if yours is being built in Europe*, two weeks from build to handover seems ambitious.

*I didn't think EU production had started yet but your dates would suggest otherwise.
