1998 C70 T5 GT Auto breaking
Hi all,
We're currently breaking the above car, in Nautic Blue. It's done something like 108k miles. The car has been in an accident, but all bolt-on panels are fine. The OS wing is lightly scuffed (the car went through a hedge), but I'm pretty sure this would polish out. At this point, as far as I'm aware, unless my memory is playing tricks, pretty much everything is available. I'll list below items we've removed with the particular intention of selling them, but if there are any other bits and bobs you'd like, ask away. Engine (M4.4 2.3 T5 - 108k!) - £400 Gearbox (4 speed auto...I forget the code) - £150 Driveshafts (new outer gaiters ~1 year ago) - £50 each - provisionally sold Genuine GT-spec wishbones (4-bolt, with thick stops, ~1 year old) - £40 each Creme dash-top with Centre speaker and Pro-logic processor - £75 Creme leather interior (very good condition for age) - £50 1x 17x7" Comet alloy in anthracite (originally from V70R) - £50 - provisionally sold Engine ECU - £50. I'll add in the ECU numbers tomorrow morning. Gearbox ECU can go with it if required. ABS ECU - £20. - provisionally sold 3rd party eggcrate Grill - £10 - provisionally sold Boost Control Solenoid - £15 There will no doubt be more when I think of it... Don't forget the car is essentially complete, and pretty much everything is available...so do ask away if you have any requests. Anything not a) pretty new, or b) unusual (such as the low mileage engine) will be cheap. I've more or less guessed at some of the prices...so if you feel they're a little "generous", you can make an offer - we can only say yes or no Finally...the bad news...you have less than a week to get your requests in. It's due to go on Friday. cheers James

Yes, it will be there. I'll pencil that in for when the interior comes out. Only slight problem might be that, if memory serves correctly, it's wrapped with the main loom at that point. Basically, the asking price will be proportional to the time it takes to get it out. I'm not going to take the mick, but if it takes an hour+ to get it out, I can't really justifying giving it away for peanuts. We'll see how we get on, anyway
cheers James

Any idea if the fuel lines for this will fit a 96 850 T5? I need the ones from the tank to the filter and the filter to the back of the engine. They are the push fit, supposedly quick release ones.
Thanks

Is the alloy darker than the standard C70 one? My NSF wheel is cracked thanks to a monster pothole.

The comet foggy has is too narrow (7J) for your car. Unless someone put a set from a S/V70R onto your C70 (bit of a longshot though).

I'm after the relay for the remote boot release. It's in the underdash (drivers side) fuse box and not the engine bay one. It is green in colour and the part no. is 9494787.
Thanks Andy
