I have a 2001 S80 T6 just purchased Dec 2003.
My info message window displays "Position lamp bulb failure". I cannot find any non-working lamps in the car. It now has the orange exclamation mark "!" turned on. Anyone know what a position lamp is, or an alternative to a visit to the dealer?
Thanks in advance, Greg

It'll be a front or rear 'sidelight'. It's also possible that one is just taking a little more current than another causing the message - simple just to change all the blubs.

Orange exclamtion mark means 'low prioirty' problem, you don' want a red one!

I was advised by my dealer to remove the bulbs and give them a bit of a clean. When the contacts are dirty they draw more current which causes the message to appear. I did this and it resolved the issue. Incidently it was the rear bulbs as these are the ones most likely to cause the problem..
