Will a V tow bar fit my S60?

Hi everyone, i have a 2003 S60 and am looking for a towbar. I have been offered a towbar from a P2 V70 and i was just wanting to know if this will fit my S60 or not. I know i will need to get the right wiring set up just needing to know if the towbar will fit before i go buy it to find out its no use.

Hi, I’m 99% sure it will fit, I bought one for my S60 (2007) advertised for S60 or V70. Out of curiosity I looked under a V70 and it looked identical. A doddle to fit and came with some generic tow bar wiring.

Hi. I did the same but in reverse a few years ago. I acquired a tow bar from a 2003 S60 to fit onto my V70 (2004, facelift). The tow bar fitted fine - so in answer to your question, yes the tow bar will fit. However I found the wiring loom with the tow bar did not connect to my V70 as Volvo had introduced different connection in 2004. So I now have a surplus tow bar wiring harness which will fit your S60 if you would like it. You should find a grey connector in the boot area , ready to receive the wiring harness. I think these dedicated tow bar wiring looms are now discontinued by Volvo. Price £35 incl postage. Please let me know if you are interested. Cheers Tony
