  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Whats my engine management system called

as above im using an omiscan scanner it has an array of engine management names motronic etc etc
as it caters for all years of volvo

question is what type is my 850 estate 10v obd2 1996 n reg

Your ECM, ECC and Cruise ecu's need a flash code reader.....Nothing you can buy on the net will read these.......

well the omiscan is not a code reader it does allot more, but i dont know what it will do with the 850 inparticular as i dont have the info on this computer, maybe nothing but i got volvo unlocked free with a landrover upgrade, which is what i use it for

I can assure you it will not read flash codes off the Fenix ecu..., the ECM is not obd11 compatable...Im not wishing to be obstructive, just realistic...It may read ECM codes off a 70 series 20 valve but not the 10 valve, sorry....

you are probably right but it does non obd2 stuff on many many other vehicles
