Most if not all cars incorporate a water channel section as part of the wing top edge extended under the bonnet sides.

That’s the full extent of the picture , alas. I have seen them before and always the same,as if they were an item one could buy as an aftermarket fitting.
I look forward to seeing your seals. ( Something else to fabricate/ fit)😀

Pictures attached as mentioned:~
Not the easiest things to photograph but should give you the idea.

The seals are a sort of extended "D" shape (hollow profile-closed cell) from memory a self adhesive one using VHB tape already applied.
You can add the tape separately if you wish.

The under bonnet profile once in the closed position sits on top of the wing rubber-forming the seal.
I cant remember the company that supplied the extrusions but it was probably one of the two listed (link etc) as I generally use both etc.

Hope it helps if you want to seal against water entering the engine bay.
Regards Bob.

That’s really good mate.
I’ll have a good look at that. I’ve used self adhesive, closed cell foam to bridge an irregular wall for a conservatory.

Thank you for that!👍

Judging from the pics of the Red car , its not much good at keeping the dirt off!
Or was that just the owner?
