Default So that's what the plastic funnel under the boot is for!

Just stumbled upon this video and now I know what the little white (unused) plastic funnel in a bag under my boot floor was meant for! I'd previously guessed it was maybe for topping up screenwash although it's not got much of of a funnel shape to it!

Mystery over! Odd that I've never needed to use this to fill up so why did they provide it I wonder?

It's in case you need to fill up from a petrol (diesel) can or syphon fuel from the tank.

For the first 3 years I thought it was some sort of centering tool for the spare wheel...................

My initial guess was that the funnel is for topping up the Adblue fluid tank on Euro 6 model cars? There should be a blue screw on cap somewhere?

It's so you can add fuel by the eggcup full without spilling any as drips will now cost you 25p each.
