Not a clue - and I’ve been to Sweden a few times haha

Anyway…..

New tyres on…… LUSH!!

Tiny bit of rub on speed bumps but otherwise the car drives well.

Had a little knock which I traced to the the panhard needing a 1/2 turn on the spanners

I drove past a shop window earlier and I smiled sooooo much

And pulled up at the lights next to a Toyota Yaris GR with gold alloys and a mega exhaust and we both spoke about each others cars - it’s a beast the GR

I was mostly just teasing Mr Othen All in good humour

I'd quite like a GR Yaris! Glad to hear the new tyres have improved things.

cheers

James

It is good news that the new tyres have fixed the problem completely.

Have you sorted out the rubbing when crossing speed humps?

Yeah - I go slower

Had 3 up in the back last night and rubs a bit more often but going through town, everyone was looking

It’s got such presence now

Once the new springs are fully bedded in, I’ll trim back the arches maybe

Replaced the dash bulbs finally - had bought them some time back but weirdly doing it in the day is harder as you can’t really tell if they are on so I sat on the drive at 10pm last night fitting them. Now I don’t have to drive with the interior light on at night to make sure I’m not speeding

Need to sort my rear earthing on the boot next i think

Well, that is fairly good news. I'd be more than a bit uncomfortable about any chance of the body touching a tyre, but that is only me.

The little Xmas tree lights for the dash are a bit fiddly, but a quick win that is satisfying out of all proportion to its cost.

:-)

Hi JJ,

Some photos of the new incarnation would be good. This has been an interesting project.
