Default You Dirty Old Man!

Sensus screen!

Are you fed up with it looking opaque after a single day of prodding?

Here's how I'm Prodding Back Better,

The boss wears bins aka glasses, she uses small wipes specifically for glasses that she gets from Wilko for about a quid a box iirc (the box is green) I've found that they are the best way to get the screen looking unblemished and also are only damp enough for one sitting reducing the risk of fluid getting inside and destroying the unit,

"Na mate tomorrow it's back just the same"

Well here's stage two, I use a bumper pen now to select what I want, it's a small one that doubles up as a pen and I don't know where I got it from as it was laying around the huss, other ones can be got from the quidland outlets anyway, the other way is the screen doesn't actually need contact, if you hold your finger near it the option will select, this fails when you need to scroll though,

No more smears!

p.s anyone used the screen protector on theirs? opinions if you have thx.

Does it fit edge to edge Paul? a lot of them I see online appear to have a strip either side on the vertical that doesn't get covered, it's not a deal breaker but would look better if the gap was minimal like a phone one is, tia.

It fits well, very slight gap at the top, not noticeable. Care needed to apply without bubbles.

Is it any particular brand you use, I'm seeing a 6 pack that the reviews say scratches easy and a 2 pack of Broprotect ones which have mixed reviews?

Sorry, this was 5 years ago. The pack had several spares but as I've not needed to replace they are now carefully placed somewhere (ie lost)

Well thank you anyway, it sounds like you have the PET one rather than the Glass variation, it's the gap that has my ocd meter on max revs but if it is slightly too small if I can equal the gap on all 4 sides it won't bother me, I think
