Default 850 T5 - alarm/immobiliser - help!

Morning all

After posting on here about starting/running issues with my 850 T5, I was filled with anticipation at (hopefully) getting it to run for the first time in six months yesterday, only to be thwarted by the alarm and immobiliser engaging (I didn't even realise it had either of these things).

I have one key (not remote) and can't find a way of disengaging either/both to be able to get it to turn and see if my repairs have been successful. I've unplugged the horn. Disclaimer: I have a vague memory of connecting something that was previously disconnected, while I was rooting around in the engine bay/under the dash, and have a sneaky feeling they were disconnected for a reason - I just can't remember for the life of me what it was!

Any suggestions as to how I can disable these would be much appreciated.

Oliver

If you search the forum you'll find this is a common issue and that it has been solved many many times before.

Here's a link explaining how to reset and disable the immobiliser by pulling fuses.

Cheers - just tried pulling those fuses/replacing and no joy. Have unplugged the alarm siren, but indicators still flashing so alarm and immob clearly still engaged - such a pain!
