Default what ELM327?

So i have a 2013 V60 D4, and have read that it can be mixed if the reader works on some models, so what reader do you have and does it work ok?

Will be used with android and probably bluetooth only so dont need anything too fancy.

also the App for android, which is preferred?

just want it for looking at DPF levels and whatever else it may show, so dont want to pay big cash.

ta

I use a very cheap ELM327 interface (~£2.60 from BestPartsStore) with a Bluetooth connection in conjunction with the free 'Car Scanner' app running on an Android device. Once configured from the picklist it readily gives DPF loading data, plus I also get the oil level reading as a useful bonus.

I'm using a Viecar Bluetooth adapter and the Car Scanner app.

The free app has a limited number of connections permitted so I paid the small amount for the pro version
