Well that’s a pain. I thought I’d be able to access the clutch by removing the wheel arch liner, but no. Do I have to go down from the top or am I missing something obvious?

Straight down, take P/s pump off no need to disconnect unbolt the compressor it has enough flexible on the pipes and then just put the puller on and job (Half) done

That sounds annoying. The garage can have the job. I don’t have the patience at the moment for simple jobs that are a pain to get to.

Attached is a write up I did for mine in 2016, which may halp you make the decision. I enjoyed doing it at the time, but I'm older still now, and looking back at the photos, I'm wondering if I would do it myself again. If you dont have the time and patience, and you have the money, a garage is always a good bet.

Excellent write up, thanks for that. You’ve reaffirmed my decision to let someone else do it.

That could be low refrigerant or the expansion valve.
