Default Comfort cooling not working

I have a 2014 XC60. The recent hot weather has proved the CC isn’t working correctly. When 19c and below the air is lukewarm rather than really cold. Also a dusty type smell when engine first switched on.

Any ideas On How this can be rectified and what the problem is likely to be?

Cheers, Rudy

Dust smell could be the pollen filter… replace that.

The system could need a regas. Low refrigerant can cause the air to blow warm.

Spend the extra money and buy the top end Mahle Carbon activated pollen filter. Works really well and doesn't fog up your screen.
