Default 4-wheel alignment in the south of England

I will be getting some new tyres soon and will want to get the alignment done at the same time. It is ages since the last time and I remember having trouble finding anyone who could do it. So, can anybody recommend somewhere in the New Forest, Waterside or Southampton areas that can do the alignment?

Micheldever tyres will do it (and sell you the tyres too...)

Thanks Dave, I will check them out. It is quite a long way though, so any nearer the New Forest still gratefully received!

I've never had to look, and it's too hot to do so now, but is there even any adjustment on the rear?

One of the things I remember from this forum when I first bought an XC90 was that everybody emphasises the need for a 4-wheel alignment. I'm no expert, but apparently it is important for tyre wear among other things.

Thanks for the links. Tyre shack in Millbrook also offers a check and adjust for free after 3 months, which seems a good idea, so I have written to them to see what they can quote on the tyres as well.

There is full adjustment on the rear by means of a cam lobe on the bolts ... a good technician with a Hunter system will adjust the tracking front and rear, take care they use the correct year of manufacture as the settings changed around 2008.

Indeed, and as Truckbus kindly confirms above that this is the case, as without the capacity for adjustment on the rear its a pointless exercise (unless there is a suspicion of damage).
