Default Inner cv boot split axle shaft

Hi there. After another expensive day at Volvo now informed the rear drivers side inner cv boot has split.
It’s an awd d5 2012 xc60.
Parts told me I need a full axle shaft as inner boot does not sell separately.
Cost near £400.
Part number is v36000931.
Any ideas who may sell these on the after market.
Have seen some on eBay but none matching that part number.
Thanks in advance.
To add I have found this. Manufacturer skf.
Any idea if they are any good

Have a look on “AUTODOC”, I know they sell all sorts, they may just have what you are looking for.

A very good brand. I know they manufacture quality wheel bearings.

Probably some of the best bearings and seals on the market. SKF is were Volvo AB were born in 1926, and was a subsidiary of SKF until 1935. Volvo is a trademarked name from SKF, Latin for 'I Roll' hence the bearing connection. The rest as they say is history.

Looks like I will be returning parts to AUTODOC as no one will touch doing the trailing arms bushes. Special tool is needed.
I will now be letting Volvo do the work this week. Just waiting fir the dreaded call for two trailing arms fitted and rear drive shaft fitted.
The parts alone £500 any idea the labour charges if someone has had this done

Rubbish, yes a press is needed but not ultra special tool (as I was informed by Volvo). My local garage swapped both bushes and rear springs in less than 3 hours including delivery and collection and cost less than £400 incl labour but also doing MoT.

Don’t mind me asking where are you based. I’m in Merseyside and the local Volvo independent said no chance he could do it.

He obviously isn’t very well equipped then.

Find another garage & stay away from the dealership because they’ll rip you off.
