My deep thanks to 4x4 for posting these pictures something i could never have done myself.

Thanks also for the kind remarks regarding the car itself.

No idea of its worth but the price is what it is and will not be changed.

Hope it goes to someone who will keep it and look after it the way you have !

You're very welcome. A tidy looking car and if you weren't so far away I could be tempted myself

Hope the next owner takes as good care as you have. Good luck with the sale

I have a lot of respect for you recognising that it’s time to hang up your driving shoes, I am sure that’s not an easy decision.

Ernie, if it had a black interior, I'd have been in touch immediately to arrange to buy. You've looked after it, have put an honest, and heartfelt advert together, and the car looks fantastic. I'd be amazed if it wasn't sold by the end of the day.

I too admire the difficult choice you have made; my father made the same decision at around 80years of age so really appreciate how it changes daily life.

If I didn't already have T5 (P) on the drive I would certainly make you an offer for your car, I much prefer the build quality of the P80 version.

As griston64 suggests, I would have thought that in that wonderful condition you should be looking for a final sales price around the £2500 mark, especially with all those stamps in the book....it is easy to drop your price but not so easy to increase it once you have put it up for sale.

Hello Ernie,
I've just sent you an email with my mobile number.

I'm very interested in buying your car.

Brilliant, this is what this forum should be about, not the incessant and bad tempered bickering that goes on elsewhere. Lovely story, great result for someone, thanks to all involved
