It's the remote climate feature. If you choose remote climate, then set the time to 15 minutes or less, when you press start it will give you the option to start the engine.

It isn't obvious. I had a mate contact me who isn't on the forum asking the same thing. Volvo are trying to be all 'you tell us what you want, and we'll sort it for you'. I.e. I want to leave in x minutes, prep the car for me, but I don't care what exactly you do. I personally like to make the choices myself.

Double tap the fan symbol on the home page.

Is that on iOS or Android nu11eaf? On iOS I can't see any difference between a single or double tap on the fan symbol. In each case, it slides the car image to the left to showing the climate timer and shows the 'start' button underneath.

Well if you hold the app icon for a second you will see most of the useful features (see below). You can choose to create shortcuts for any of them. This is on android and not sure if it is the same with ios.

Yes also the widgets are still there (on Android) and long press on the icon still has those options (on Pixel at least)

Android; When I first tried it a single tap did not work but double tap did, I tried a single tap again and it works ok now with a single tap. Either way works.

It's under "Climate" from the front screen. Press "Start" and you're asked if you'd like to start the car, too.

I’m right hand drive too now! Still same (correct) colour, but I now have silver roof bars, they were the correct black on the LHD version!
