Angry Not going into gear when warm.

Last year my car v70 t5 2.5 awd on a 52 plate, started jumping gears and clunking when engaging drive.

When i set off it drove as it should for around 15 miles but then it would start missing gears and when i accelerate it would jump into drive. Then it would clear itself and drive as it should for a short time then start acting up again. Sometimes when it seemed to be stuck in top gear the "d" on the clock cluster would change to --- --- i would stop and turn the ignition off for 10 seconds and the car would drive as it should.

I had a complete flush done by a specialist while i watched and the oil was all replaced with the correct atf.

It drove ok for around two weeks then the fault started again.

Help

My opening question is always has it been plugged up to Volvo Diagnostics? Aka Vida? It could be anything from a module fault to a gearbox fault. Hopefully there should be a fault code to start the proceedings off.
