Default volvo spotting

Playing a game with the boys this week up in the lakes, pretty straight forward... just point out volvos as you drive around

perhaps not entirely surprising for a rural area but there are hundreds of them up there! the boys (6 and 4) have learnt to spot the rear lights or the distinctive grill from a distance and get it right nearly every time

double points when it's the same type as mine, they get well excited bless 'em

the missus thinks I'm totally mad and to start with it was driving her bonkers but now she's doing it as well.

shout out to the owner of the v70 with the 'sh#tbox' sticker in the rear window who flashed his hazards at me on the way home (M6/M1) if they're on here by any chance

Am I the only one who wants to flash or wave other V70's - is that just sad, or do others do it too

my previous was a scooby and others tended to give me thumbs up all the time. but they're less common

Best game we play with the kids is count the number of legs on pub signs.

Horse and jockey gets you 6 and Lord Nelson gets you 2.

Each has aside of the road and the winner is the one with the most at the end of the journey.

Ha-ha, the, "count the number of legs on pub signs" is called "Pub Cricket". Even I know that one.

When we were young we contested to spot the first Mountain Ash. It's a cute little tree with orange berries -Dad's favorite.
