Glad I read this thread, thatís another job Iíve decided I need to do on the car. Mines sticking, but Iíve been content with just flicking the handle back to the closed position. Just ordered the barÖ

Easy enough to do worst part for me was getting the boot trim off ended up breaking clips and had a set of trim clips with every one except the ones I needed 😂 I also used a hacksaw blade to make grooves on each end of the new bar and fitted sirclips onto each end was a bit paranoid that the new bar would end up sliding out and would have to take it apart again
