Volvo On Call App
Anybody having problems?
I installed the App 18 months ago on my Samsung mobile for V60. It has always worked giving me car info and downloading destinations. For the last 7 days it has not updated car info and when I tried to download a destination it said it could not connect to the car. I logged out of the App and tried to log back in but it will not open the app. Are others experiencing this? |

All seems fine on my iPhone app.
Sending routes to the car is still a PITA (route usually gets forgotten if the car gets the route before the navigation has booted up), but I think that's just normal. I get all the trip stats as expected right afterwards. Are you sure your VOC subscription hasn't expired?

Sorry, didn't know the car was new 18 months ago. VOC is free for the first 3 years, but will expire on change of owner.
You should be able to confirm your subscription status in the app Car-> Car Details At the bottom, you should find "Volvo On Call Subscription". You're probably fine, but I normally try the easy things first.

On this - do you still get the destination showing up in the "Library" or does this not work either? I used to get something similar when I first got the car, but then found them all in the Library.

Remote start and stop are both very slow to operate since updates, over 35 seconds in my case, with good internet speed, car parked outside house. Phone using Virginmedia fast broadband. I noticed this after the update 4.12.1 but may have been the update prior to that one which effected the response time, now on 4.14.2 and has not improved. (Android)

VOC version 5.0.4, now known as "Volvo Cars", appears to have lost the option to remote start the car, unless it's buried somewhere.
